Lance Vickery and I are currently working on an American Saddlebred Project for Shelbyville, KY. The horse will be full scale and will be executed in bronze plate. This image illustrates the style we are using to create the horse. The piece will be open-framework, very gestural lines and shapes that create the horse.
Just recently, I had the opportunity to create a sculpture for Atlantic Beach called Wings of the Phoenix. I am also creating a large-scale version for UNF’s campus, which will be about 15′ high. The wings are based on a costume design I created for the Flight of the Phoenix performance I did in Italy with Coral Lambert, Andreas Glaser, Cynthia Handel, and Susanne Roewer.
